So Dom and I went to catch the fireworks on National Day and it was well worth it! Okay initially it was super frustrating, albeit there wasn't THAT much of a crowd where we were (chose to get to The Fullerton via Raffles Place - luckily for us that was a smart move) but there were still barricades all over and to get to Starbucks and Overeasy, you still had to pass through this little gap where the crowd control personnel will question your destination before letting you through. I shall not go into further details to bore anyone out but what I'm trying to say is, be there early to avoid all that hassle -.-
Initially, we were stuck behind the Fullerton so our view ain't that good, well we could still see the fireworks since it's so high up but couldn't really see anything else.
Yep this is what I meant by being blocked by the building ><
Heart! :D
Okay after that, the fireworks paused for awhile, and the crowd control people started dismantling the barricades at the top of the stairs near Butter thinking it was the end. Luckily for us, we made our way down and caught the 2nd round of fireworks! :D
Awesome view down there!
The 'finale'. Really seemed like rain oO
Notice the lights in the shape of crescents and stars at MBS? I only realised it when I ran through the pics at home lol!
His expression forever one :P
Yep! Was feeling super accomplished (Idk why, maybe cos it seemed like we've just been through a war) after that, and since it was still early, we headed to do what we I did best, which is SHOPPING (:
Rawr okay so that was a short but fruitful National Day, literally spent the earlier half of the day lazing around at home ><
Okay it's 1.39am now and.. I'm really hungry. Recent food cravings: Eggs Benedict, Hainanese Chicken Rice, Steamboaattttt, Korean Grill BBQ zomg the BBQ pork >< Shall fulfill them one by one! This week. Ahhh feisile!
Shall STOP thinking about food at times like this. Back to my show! Just started on Heartstrings. Annyeong! :D
